Weekly Update March 17-24th 2026

Here’s a quick update!

There’s a lot of talk today as Mercury retrograde meets the North Node along with the Moon and Mars. People might feel as if they are being called onto a new path, one that is more aligned with their destiny and which feels more emotionally fulfilling. There could be a lot of thinking about the future with the Moon so closely involved, and for some, it might feel like they face a tough decision as opportunities show up and realizations set in. It is a day to go with what feels right in your gut. 

The good news this week is that Mercury turns direct, in just a few days, bringing in a two-month period where ALL major planets are moving forward. Projects and plans can pick up speed quickly once we get past this week, so expect shifts, twists, and a few more turns as we settle into new energy, and for some, perhaps even a complete change of direction. 

It’s not really that often we get gifted momentum like this from the universe, and it appears just in time for Spring and the start of a brand new astrological year. The Sun moves into Aries on Friday the 20th, just as Mercury switches gear after the New Moon on the 19th, in Pisces. This New Moon is the last bit of the old story before we move on to an exciting new chapter.

We have the Spring Equinox the very next day, and the start of British summertime in the UK. We made it and we feel good this weekend with the Moon in Taurus helping us feel grateful, abundant, and blessed. It's a good weekend to treat yourself and do whatever makes you feel good.

On Monday 22nd, the Sun conjuncts Neptune, which can feel disorientating, confusing, dreamy, or as if we are living in a Hollywood movie. Some may feel creative, some might feel extra spiritual, and some may feel extra lucky with Mars trine Jupiter, hinting at just going for your dreams and seeing what happens. Don’t get swindled, though. 

Tuesday and Wednesday are quiet days where we get to recalibrate all the new energies and adjust to the new, faster tempo. Sun in Aries is bold, go-getting, and confident, and we should all feel the joys of Spring as we reach the last week of the month. The Moon is in Gemini, so we feel excited, curious, flirty, and chatty.  

Get ready for some more action next week as Venus meets Chiron and Sun joins with Saturn. Hope everybody has a great week ahead and happy New Astrological Year!
